Our Husky Robotics season runs from fall to spring. There is a morning and afternoon team, open to 6th, 7th , and 8th graders
Robotics practices are on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The morning team meets from 6:50 to 7:50 AM. The afternoon team meets from 3:30 to 4:30 PM. All Robotics team members must apply. Ten students are chosen to represent each team. In the Fall, our teams compete in First Lego League Competitions. In the Spring, our teams compete in a local Gardner Robotics "Rumble". Robotics coaches are Mrs. Katina McCoy [email protected] and Mrs. Amy Bloodgood [email protected] For students interested in joining, there is an informational session at the end of the school year to apply for next year's Robotics team. If you are interested in joining the team next year, check back in late April to apply. The 2019-20 Robotics Team informational meeting was May 2, 2019 from 3:30 - 4:30. If you did not make it to the meeting, and are still interested in Robotics, see Mrs. McCoy for the application. Robotics team members will be announced and posted Friday May 10. The three main parts of First Lego League Robotics (FLL) include the Project, Core Values, and the Robotic Game. We do our best to balance the three areas.
